Community journalism - it's lots of kids, features and things that happen every single year. But these things are important to people. We get the privilege as photographers to be allowed into these peoples' lives for brief moments for the simple reason that we have a camera. That, to me, is a wonderful thing. It's not always easy, or fun, or even something you feel at all like doing some days. But most of the time, beauty is there if you look for it in the right way. Here are a few pictures I've made recently, since I haven't been updating the blog much. Some were published, some never saw the light of day until now. Just a few moments from this piece of the planet.
